Set-up:  At this juncture I play a double key set-up which consists of a Roland 700-SX full 88 in the bottom tier and a Roland A-37 76 keyboard controller with a midi output to the Roland 700-SX. This allows me enough keys to produce a good number of sounds for any given song. The 700-SX has two expansion boards as well which enables more combinations and layering of sounds than Carter has pills. I figure you need that when you’re competing against three guitars.

I also use a Roland 300 watt AMP as a monitor for gigs.

Musical Influences:   I have been influenced by a good number of bands: Classic rock bands, blues bands, bluegrass, Jazz,and even classical music all have given me inspiration to try my hand at playing. My favorites : The doors, ELP, Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix, Taj Mahal, Roy Brown trio, .....the list is long.

 Favorite Keyboards/musicians:     Keith Emerson, Gene Harris, Rick Wakeman, Ray Manzerk, Mike Pinder, Elton john, Billy Joel...there is a lot of them.

 Previous Work:    Prior to the last 9 yrs with Dodging Cupid/SA., I played predominately in church. During the last nine years, I did venture briefly to start a Jazz band called Urban Blue Coyote. I have also composed a couple of dozen songs that I recorded in my home studio. ......Oh, I played accordion for my relatives when I was kid. I figure that set back my musical career permanently. After that experience, there was an aversion to any kind of playing. Now my aversion is to relatives only...just kidding mom!
